Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with a part you purchase from Steele Rubber Products, simply exchange or return it for a refund. All parts manufactured by and purchased from Steele Rubber Products are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product under normal wear and/or defects in workmanship. Some items offered by Steele may not be manufactured by Steele and are subject to the original manufacturer's return and warranty policies.

Parts are accepted for return (including refunds or exchanges) only in the units purchased. We will accept only the entire package for items sold in pairs and the entire strip for items sold by the foot. Parts returned must be undamaged and be re-saleable. All returns must include the original invoice to confirm purchase.

Please note, if you alter or damage a part in any way, we may not be able to accept it for return. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS REGARDING INSTALLATION OF OUR PARTS, PLEASE CALL US BEFORE ALTERING A PART.

We cannot accept returns of products not purchased directly from Steele Rubber Products. Items manufactured by Steele and purchased from a reseller, must be returned directly to the original seller and are subject to their return policies.


All exchanges of parts will be at our discretion. In some cases, we may exchange a returned part for a similar part that replaces a changed part in our catalog. Only parts originally purchased from Steele Rubber Products can be exchanged.


We will issue a refund of the purchase price (less discounts) at our discretion for parts purchased from Steele Rubber Products. All requests for refund must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and the purchased parts. Shipping & Handling Charges may not refundable.

Request a Return

Please contact our Customer Service Department at 704-483-9343 to request an exchange or refund. Our representative will provide you with return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and instructions for returning parts to us. We cannot accept refund or return packages sent C.O.D. or any method for which there is a charge to us. You may bring items to swap meets that Steele attends, however you must have a copy of your original receipt and the entire part. Cash refunds may not be made at swap meets. They will be issued from our Denver, NC office.


Orders that have been processed cannot be cancelled. If you must cancel an order, please call us at 704-483-9343. If an order has been processed, we may charge you for Shipping & Handling. If you refuse delivery of a package, you may be subject to a non-refundable 25% restocking fee.

Returning Parts Purchased from a Dealer

Items manufactured and sold by Steele Rubber Products, but purchased through an independent or authorized reseller of Steele parts, must be returned to that same reseller for refund or exchange. Such purchases are subject to the return policies of the reseller.
