This Tailgate Window Felt Weatherstrip reproduction pair is designed from the original part for superior fitment and seal. This window felt molding mounts to the tailgate with attached clips. These window felts wipe the tailgate window glass when the glass is lowered.
This pair includes the inner and outer window felts.

These are intended to wipe the window and should function as the OEM version. Unfortunately it is impossible to completely stop water intrusion into the tailgate. For preventive measures against rust you can prep and paint the area in the bottom of the tailgate to stop rust from forming. Also verify drain holes in bottom of the tailgate are clear and not obstructed with debris.
