A flexible Windshield and Body Sealant designed specifically for creating a watertight seal between windshield rubber gaskets and auto bodies.

CRL Black Windshield and Body Sealant is an economical, non-hardening, water resistant sealing product formulated for use as a sealant and bedding compound for windshields installed in rubber gaskets. It locks out moisture, dust, and cold air instantly. It remains flexible and resilient, and can also be used to seal weather-stripping and concealed body joints.

A Non-Curing Flow Grade Butyl in Eleven (11oz.) Ounce Cartridges.
Remains Tacky Throughout Life, Does not Skin Over.
Can be Water Tested Immediately.

Glazing caulk

I have used a lot of caulk over the years but I like the way this applies and stays pliable.

Q: Would this be recommended to use on windshields that do not use a rubber gasket?

A: This product is more for bonding a rubber window gasket to the metal pinchweld. To glue in a windshield without a gasket, I would recommend our part 96-8693-96 which is a 3M urethane adhesive specifically designed for that purpose

Q: do you have any video of it use? The only one I could find on line showed it very runny. Will colder temperature change that?

Q: will 10 oz. do for both windshields & both rear glass on a 1938 Buick Special or will it require 2 tubes of this bedding compound?
